Mission

Systems and Control methods inform the whole Information and Communications Technologies as well as their applications. Process Modeling, Identification and Control techniques are thus developed and applied, mainly to manufacturing, energy, health and society.


Topics

Among the charachterizing topics, neural control of physiological functions and system biology patho-phyisiological modeling are on one side treated via the modeling, identification and control methodological skills proper of Systems and Control tradition. On the other hand, they inspire bio-mimetic technology development, and, like for the grounding negative feedback milestone inspired to physiological homeostasis, inform some of the newest trends within the whole ICT.
